H-scrolls (Aluminium)
Aluminum H-scrolls (Aluminium) are highly popular in modern ornamental metalwork because they
provide the classic look of wrought iron without the weight or maintenance issues.
- Aluminum Railing Systems: Unlike steel, aluminum scrolls are often
designed to be screw-mounted or "snapped" into pre-punched holes in aluminum
balusters. They are used to add a decorative "butterfly" pattern to residential
deck and balcony railings.
- Coastal & Pool Fencing: Because aluminum naturally resists rust and
corrosion from salt spray and chlorine, these scrolls are the standard choice
for pool enclosures and beachfront gates where steel would quickly deteriorate.
- Decorative Gate Inserts: Many aluminum H-scrolls (Aluminium) come as cast inserts.
These are often placed in the upper third of a gate (the "frieze" section) to
create a high-end, custom look for driveway or garden gates.
- Lightweight Furniture: Used as decorative supports for aluminum patio
tables and benches. Because they are cast or extruded, they can feature more
intricate, three-dimensional textures than simple bent steel flat-bar.
